Sometimes the rules in life are really easy.
Want to lose weight?
Eat healthier and exercise more.
Want to make more money?
Sell products and services that people are willing to pay for.
Want people to share your content?
Make content that's useful and easy to understand.
When one of our presenters for this week, John Kremer, was first on Pinterest, he discovered a pin about the Bob Harper (from NBC's Biggest Loser) book called “The Skinny Rules”.
Now, while the content was really good, it wasn't well designed.
So John took the content in the pin and redesigned it in such a way that it would be easier for him to read.
It took him all of about 15 minutes to create his own pin using the content, and to then post it on Pinterest, and he went about the rest of his day thinking that nothing would really come of it.
The next day he logged in and, much to his surprise, found that his pin had been shared hundreds of times overnight.
He was onto something.
So after a couple of days and thousands more repins, he thought that he'd try to design the pin to look a little bit better.
He changed one part of the pin, which took 5 minutes to do overall, and again pinned it.
This one started getting over 1000 repins on an almost daily basis.
Bear in mind that this was being done by a man who had no formal design skills and actually created his pins in Microsoft Word.
He decided to tinker a bit more, and spent an afternoon designing a pin that was very nice, useful and easy to read.
To date, that pin has been repinned over 1 Million times and is responsible for over 168,000+ visitors to his website and it does, in fact, still get him traffic to this day.
That final pin was created 7 years ago!
Want to see the pin that he created?
Better yet want to see how he's creating hundreds of dollars in passive income every month using nothing but Pinterest?
Or to watch as he creates and posts and pins for one of you - so you can emulate it?
