Balance is a MYTH!
You’ll hear middle and upper management wax poetic about work-life balance. They mean well… but they’re so far off the mark it’s not even funny.
It implies that work is bad, and life is good.
Well… Work is not the opposite of life. It’s a part of life - just like your family, friends, and hobbies, and your side hustle, if you have one.
There’s nothing to balance.
Instead, what you do in every single area of your life - including your work and your business aspirations, is you go hard.
(We’ll dive deeper into how exactly you can pull that off if you’ve been feeling burned out for years on end).
What I mean is, when you work, you work hard. When you’re with your family or friends, you go hard, too - meaning, you’re 100% there, with unrelenting focus. When you’re engaged in a hobby, you’re 100% there, too.
Now, this is kind of obvious. Of course, very few people actually do it, but still… pretty obvious.
The main question is… how do you actually pull it off?
How do you go hard at anything when there’s so much of everything?
Say YES
by saying NO.
...continued tomorrow.
