Offers are no different.
Sure, you’ve got to have incredible deliverables. Groundbreaking content - presented in an organized structure so it’s easy to consume.
Yet…
Timing Is Super Important.
Being in the right place at the right time is way more important. If Dorothy Fletcher were to have her heart attack at home, there wouldn’t be 15 cardiologists around to help her… most likely.
Contact lenses were invented in 1632. Electric car? 1828. Solar cells… 1883.
People just weren’t ready for that tech back then.
Right now, those are behemoth industries just because the timing is right.
You can’t be too late with an offer either. If someone decided to launch the next Amazon right now, they would have a really hard time penetrating the market.
To have a killer offer (no pun about Dorothy’s unfortunate situation intended), you also need ethics and morals. A lot of good information can often flow from ethically dubious individuals… which presents a conundrum to the end user - they want to take action but are conflicted about who they learned it from.
An offer needs to be validated. People need to succeed with the approach - and not just one individual or company under circumstances you have no idea about… but everyday people, like you and me, need to be able to verifiably succeed.

In order to have a great offer that converts, we need (beyond incredible deliverables):
Make the offer at the right place, at the right time
The offer needs to come from an ethically impeccable person
Regular people need to be able to verifiably succeed with it
