The biggest shift in online marketing right now

The biggest shift in online marketing has just happened.

And very few people have noticed.

They’ve all been too busy listening to gurus, working hard, and taking care of everyday needs to notice that the marketing world has completely changed because of all the craziness that’s going on in the world.

If that’s you, too, there’s no judgement on my part. I get it. When you’re fighting tooth and nail to stay above the water, the last thing you need is to pay attention to slight rule changes.

However, this time, the changes in online marketing have accumulated into an avalanche… that’s going to completely upset the status quo.

It can be compared to the invention of tools. Or fire. Or writing.

No joke. That’s how big this is.

What makes me so sure?

First, it’s the fact that the world record holders in affiliate marketing are coming forward about this. Second, it’s the fact that they think it’s so important they’re willing to bribe you with $400 to come and watch their training. And third… it just makes sense.

If you want some more background…

Let’s back up a few million years. (You heard that right).

The world’s oldest stone tools have been discovered on the shores of Lake Turkana in Kenya, and date back to 3.3 million years ago. That’s more than 700,000 years older than any tools found before.

Let’s imagine there are two cousins, early hominids named Steve and Liam.

Steve is lucky enough to be a member of a tribe who has 1) the knowledge of how to create tools, 2) the resources to create them, and 3) a neat stash of those tools already in their possession to make their lives easier. Most importantly… Steve is smart enough to realize not to cling to his old ways.

Then there’s Liam. Also a member of the same tribe. Access to tools, resources, everything. Except Liam (since maybe he’s been away on a 5 year long hunt?) doesn’t even know the world has moved on and a huge paradigm shift has occurred.

Both Steve and Liam work hard. But who do you think is going to, over time, be more successful? Steve.

Because Steve was the first to adopt the huge paradigm shift!

Let’s fast forward a couple of million years - to the invention of fire.

The great-great-great-(great)-grandchildren of Steve and Liam once again find themselves in the same spot as their ancestors did. Steve Jr. quickly adopts the new way of thinking and starts using fire to do stuff. Liam Jr., on the other hand, is reluctant and relies on the old ways.

Who do you think is going to enjoy their prehistoric life more? Of course… Steve Jr.

Right now, online marketing is no different.

The paradigm shift that has occurred is permanent and completely disrupts every single thing about online marketing.

You need the new rule book.

In other words, in a world where everyone is working with no tools, you need to get the tools and put them to use (or have someone do it for you).

In a world where there’s no fire, you need to learn to make fire and leverage it.

In a world where more and more people are coming online to fulfill their dreams, you need to be there, ready to lend a helping hand.

How do you do that without burning yourself out?

How do you do that AND get paid handsomely?

All is going to be revealed in this new training:

The new rules of internet marketing

When you’re on as many online marketing related lists as I am… patterns emerge.

You have marketers who like a very direct approach. Every opportunity they show you is the ultimate opportunity, the one you must take right now. I get why they’re doing it - conviction sells - but I also believe there’s a lot more nuance to this.

Is every opportunity right for you?

It might be… and it might not be. Only you can be the judge of that - you have plenty of marketers who will tell you this, too. Once again, I believe there’s a lot more nuance to that.

Now which approach do I like?

It’s a question that every marketer struggles with.

Do you literally try and shove everything down people’s throats… or you take a more laid back approach and risk not only making less sales but also not helping someone who might need it?

It was one of the many rules of internet marketing - that you had to choose an approach.

This rule - and almost every other rule, too…

are out of the window now.

For example, if you want to succeed in 2021, neither of the approaches above is right.

Instead, you need to be 100% convinced about what you’re sending your list. You need to have conviction that can only come from having seen and used the product you’re selling.

Very few marketers are able to pull this off.

Some are just lazy, but that’s the minority.

The biggest problem is most honest, hard working marketers who are just starting out can’t afford to buy access to $5,000 courses to review them before selling to make sure they’re good.

However, if you’re not able to do that, what chance do you have to succeed in 2021, with all the new rules in place?

Pretty much none.

Unless you come to this training… where that problem (and a whole ton of others) are going to be solved for you in one fell swoop. Pretty amazing.

Here’s the registration link.

Now, since we’re in problem-solving mode, and since I think it’s super important that you come to this training…

I was so happy to discover that the marketers doing this training are going to give 5 people who come to the webinar

$400 each!

Now that’s a nice bonus and if you manage to be among the lucky 5 who get it - congratulations!

However - and this is more important…

The information you’re going to discover is going to let you create $400… $1,000… $2,000… perhaps even $10,000 or even more almost every time you feel like sending an email.

… in 2021 and beyond.

Why am I so certain and why am I telling you that this is the opportunity you must look at?

Because I practice what I preach.

I've seen what these guys can do. I've seen the success stories. I've seen people making money online for the first time in their lives.

And this… well, this is crucial for you if you’re looking to succeed. I say that with all the conviction in the world.

How to learn (and earn)

It’s not easy to figure everything out on your own.

You’re not supposed to, either.

Yet, most people - and this might be my confirmation bias talking - especially those who try to build their own profit streams and businesses, tend to try and figure it out all on their own.

[I might have a thought why that is. Since you’re self-reliant enough to even undertake something as huge as building a business (a lot of people never even think about that!)... it might be your preference to figure everything out on your own.]

But you’re making things too hard on yourself. Unnecessarily.

Here’s the thing.

Children learn by observing, listening, exploring, experimenting, and asking questions. It’s something they’re biologically programmed to do.

As adults, we need to continue that process. It’s been shown that it renews our self-motivation, helps us improve self confidence, improves our lives and careers, and lets us recognize our personal interests and goals.

And a lot of us do. For example, when given a choice, 46% of readers say they read mostly nonfiction books, compared to 35% who mostly read fiction, according to Gallup. (The remaining 17% say they partake in both genres equally).

As entrepreneurs, we might not have months and years to study obscure texts, read scientific papers… and traditional college might be too slow for us.

So what do you do instead?

After all, there are skills and habits that you need to succeed. How do you master those… as effectively as possible?

It’s a two-pronged approach.

First, learn on an “as needed” basis.

Instead of, let’s say, figuring out how you’re supposed to build an entire funnel online, chunk the task down.

Doesn’t even matter how you slice it - as long as you slice it up in a way that you can do each step separately and have a clear indication of when it’s done.

For example, if you need to build a funnel to add subscribers to your email list with a lead magnet, you could slice the task up like this:

  1. Build a landing page
  2. Create a lead magnet
  3. Format the lead magnet for download
  4. Integrate with autoresponder
  5. Test

Now, even if you don’t have the slightest idea on how to do any of it, the next step is simple. Go and find a YouTube video that explains how to build a landing page. Watch it and do it. Same with creating a lead magnet. If you don’t know how to do it, learn that - and only that - and go back to taking action. And so on.

Now you might ask… what if I don’t have the faintest idea on how to slice the task up? Well then you look that up!

The main thing I want to get across here is that you need to take as much action as possible… and only learn on an as-needed basis - instead of spending all your time learning and no time taking action.

Now…

What if you don’t know that you need to build a funnel?

That’s what stops most people most of the time… it’s not that you can’t figure out how to build a funnel. It’s a simple technical process. Instead it’s being aware of the things you need.

Here’s how you learn that.

You find someone who has achieved the result you want to achieve. You start following them closely. Watch what they’re doing. Note it down. Try to model it.

Success leaves clues.

For example, if you want to launch a successful information product, find someone who’s doing it and watch them like a hawk. If you notice them selling a $1 product, you create and sell a $1 product. If you notice that they’re doing a webinar, well you do a webinar too - and by the way, it’s going to suck for the first few times you do it.  And so on.

If you apply both of these learning strategies starting tomorrow… you’ll be unstoppable in a year.

Model someone who already has achieved what you want… and learn on an as-needed basis whenever you, well, need to.

Are you doomed to fail?

You might think that most people who try to make money online fail at driving traffic. Or building an email list. Or creating an information product.

And you’d be wrong.

As little as 10% get as far as to even have a chance of failing at the above things.

Interestingly enough, if they do get this far, they probably won’t fail at the above things or anything similar… they’re more likely to see things through.

There’s something else that stops most people.

It’s step #1 - pick your niche.

Whatever it is you decide to do online, be it ecommerce, Amazon, information products, local consulting (or whatever label you bestow upon yourself), the first step is deciding on the market segment you’re going to serve.

And this is where everyone stops.

In my experience, it’s not that it’s that hard to decide what you like.

It’s more about being able to let go of opportunities in all the other niches you’re not going to serve.

It’s called Fear of Missing Out - FOMO - and you might’ve heard about it in regards to investing.

No different when it comes to making money online.

Say, you decide on that you’re going to pursue the personal development market. As soon as you do that, doubt sets in and you start thinking…

“What if there’s more money to be made with weight loss… internet marketing… relationships… pets… toys…” and so on and so forth.

This is where most people become paralyzed.

Which bugs me to no end… because the answer is simple.

All of these are good niches. Probably most niches are going to be just fine as your first niches… as long as there’s some activity in the niche. If you pick any of the big ones, you’re going to be just fine.

Here’s something else you should know.

Your first product is probably going to suck. Your second one… probably as well. But it’s going to be a tiny bit better. Third might be ok. Fourth will be even better. And so on.

So even if you get the niche-picking part completely wrong and in the process of creating your first product realize that you completely hate, let’s say, the weight loss niche…

It’s completely fine, because chances are your first product isn’t even that good, and you probably don’t have a huge audience built just yet.

You can pivot to whatever you like best, and hey - you now have one less niche to worry about.

Now, if you still can’t decide what to pick, here’s some advice.

Some people’s niche is making money.

It doesn’t matter in what niche. If it makes money, they’re fine with it (ethical considerations apply, of course).

But people like that are few and far between.

So you better go with something that interests you… that you’re passionate about. It might be something you’ve already done in the past. Or something that you always wanted to be doing.

Warning

It’s not the “follow your passion and the money will come” speech. I’ve always thought that was terrible advice… if for no other reason, it’s that often once you have to start making money with your passion, it stops being a passion.

No.

What I’m saying is having some kind of passion for a niche will make it easier to keep going whenever things get hard.

That will happen.

Not all the time… but when it does, you’ll be way happier working on something that at least somewhat interests you.

My final advice to you is this.

Do not be a statistic. Don’t be among the 90% who lose months, or even years, picking a niche… while they could be making money.

Just pick something and get going. You’ll pivot if needed.

False starts are often a part of life. Instagram was called Burbn once and was a checkin app. They pivoted multiple times until they became the social media giant we know today.

Go ahead. Grow. Do it by failing, if necessary. Don’t sit still, though!
